Re: why does this seem like alot of calories?
Michelle, the mayonnaise is around 100 calories per tablespoon. The boiled eggs are around 80 calories each. So the 2000 calories doesn't sound out of range.
Why don't you eat part of your salad, and then if you are still hungry 15 minutes later, go back and eat some more instead of eating it all at one time.
That is a huge portion for one serving.

That is also a lot of protein to eat all at once. Remember your body will convert excess protein into glucose. This will spike your insulin levels and promote fat storage. Then your brain will send the signals to eat again. vicious vicious cycle. Stable blood sugar level is the foundation of this way of life. YOu would be better served to spread that salad out throughout multiple meals and add a lot of veggies with it. I am sure you wouldn't eat 6000-8000 calories a day so 2000 in one sitting is way too much. I am not trying to be critical, I am trying to be helpful. Good luck!

both! Just the five eggs is a lot.
Put one fourth of your recipe on a bed of crisp greens with some cherry tomatoes. You will be full and happy and not eat a day's worth of calories in one meal. And have lunch for tomorrow and a snack for Tuesday!

I agree with added the salad to the chicken sald. You will fill up much quicker and it will make it a more exciting meal to enjoy.sigpicCeeMarie 267/236/180 (-31 lbs!)

Great work, Michelle
Figuring out what should be a 'normal portion' is hard for a lot of us
