It looks pretty good. Are you eating any dressings with the salad? fats with the meat and fish?

No dressing on the salad. Not on induction anyway.

I do cut the fat off meat, Mainly because I always have done and the texture and taste I really do not like.

The fish I fried in a small bit of butter.

This is my main issue with atkins I have found so far. Obviously I got to the size I am now by eating too much fat. I do not mind fat when it is hidden. But if it looks like oil or fat I can not eat it. Which I know is strange. Atkins requires fat, so I am geting it through cheese and cream and natural fats from the meat.

          Re: My Menu for today!

Hmm- Atkins would say that we get fat from eating carbs. I know we are being taught that it is the fat - but carbs are far more dangerous. I really believe this to be true. Sugar and starches are our problems not fat.

Cream and cheese are sources of fat but dairy can be tricky as they are carby and also problematic for some people. Oils and fats are better. Are there no oils you like? Olive? How about butter? Avocado can be a good source of fat - olives. (later on OWL you can use nuts) How about mayo? A dressing? Oil and vinegar dressing?

            Re: My Menu for today!

I cook with olive oil. But I normally drain the oil off before I serve it.

Yes I like mayonase, I can use that and count the carbs.

Yes and once I am off introductions nuts etc will be good.

What I meant in previous message wasn't stating whether or not fat is good or bad for the body.
It was just a personal preference. I really do not know why I do it, but If oil is dripping off something, I would instantly blot it off. I don't think it is the texture, Maybe it is the look, or the grease.

Thanks for advice, I'll try incorperate more fat into my menu. I do like real butter so that is a good source of fat also

Nice menu and good to hear you're doing well.
Tossing veggies in extra virgin olive oil is a good way to up the fats... doesn't take much to bring the percentage up, if you need to. On veggies the fats coat, rather than swim around the food, so you might find that more palatable.
