As I mentioned in another post, I'm a teacher who is on Spring Break (until 6:00am tomorrow!) so I feel like I've been eating a lot! I'm on Day 4 of induction and have lost 3 pounds so far.
Breakfast:
3 eggs with 1 oz feta cheese and 1 tbsp butter (split with fiancee, so it was more like 1.5 eggs, etc.)
2 slices nitrate free bacon
2 slices candian bacon
Lunch:
2 quarter pound turkey burger pattys made on the George Foreman
1 slice velvetta cheese
1.5 cups romaine lettuce
2 tbsp caesar dressing
1 oz parmesean cheese
Snack:
1/4 cup Ricotta cheese
Few drops of Stevia
Dash cinnamon
Dash cocoa Powder
Dinner:
Smoked sausage
1.5 cups green beans
I will probably want another dessert later... I've been dying to try that Pumpkin Cheesecake stuff. Is that too much?
This is the struggle I have with Atkins and with any diet- I'm always always hungry. Atkins is the best fit for my appetite, for sure. But I worry that if I let myself eat what I want to eat, there will be no weight loss!
Here is tomorrow's plan, which will resemble my plan for the next few weeks, since I intend on continuing on extended induction.
Breakfast
Three slices All Natural Sausage
1 tbsp butter
1 whole Green Pepper
Lunch
Two Turkey Burger Pattys
1 slice Cheese
1/2 cucumber
Flax Cracker
Snack
1/4 cup Ricotta
few drops Stevia
dash cinnamon
dash cocoa powder
Dinner
Taco salad with cheese and salsa on 2 cups Romaine
Dessert:
Pumpkin Cheesecake or Danish recipe
*I drink plenty of water and take a B vitamin, flaxseed oil, and magnesium.
Sorry for such a long post- how does that sound?
