I don't understand why I'm gaining now. My lowest was 174 this week and I just checked the scale and I'm 178! Habitually, I check the scale every morning when I wake up. I'm still in ketosis-check everyday. I'm at a moderate level. Also, I just started working out on yesterday. I haven't worked out since I began atkins about 6 wks ago and still lost weight. I did a 35 min. moderate-high level workout on the eliptical today. So this is why I don't understand! This makes me not even want to work out anymore...it's so tiring. This was my menu today:
Breakfast:
2 eggs with 2 tbsp shredded cheedar cheese
3 pieces bacon (no sugar)
Snack:
4 pieces of pepperoni
4 pieces of salami
5 square pieces (size of quarter) of cheedar cheese and colby
Lunch:
1 can tuna (the regular size-white albacore in oil) mixed with approx:
3 tbsp mayo
1 tsp whole grain mustard (0 carbs)
1 tbsp yellow mustard (0 carbs)
1 tbsp chopped celery
1 tbsp onion
1 tbsp dill pickle
1 tsp jalapeno
3 whole iceberg lettuce leaves (made this into low carb wrap)
Snack:
3 baked chicken wings
2 tbsp hot wing sauce (about 2 carbs-but no sugar)
Snack:
2 cups Orange-pekoe tea
2 tbsp cream
2 tbsp sugar-free vanilla
1 mocha flavored splenda
(I'm out of regular splenda so had to substitute)
Drinks:
40 oz of water
8 oz of crystal light
Does anyone see what I'm doing wrong? I could understand a stall, but I'm GAINING! Please help...I don't want to give up on this. I really want to succeed
