  • Stalled on last 10 lbs HELP

    I have been stalled for about a month, with about mabey 1 or 2 lbs lost. I was doing well before that and have been on Atkins extended induction(I stall or gain weight if I eat above 15 g carbs) since October 2008. I have lost 76 lbs so far, only have 9 more to go. Can you please look over my Fit Day and give me some advice.
    I only started using it afew weeks ago, before that I only kept a paper food diary. Now Im using both.

    Wow - you have done so well. That is so wonderful. I am in awe. So what you are eating now is the same menu as you have lost your 76 pounds on?
    It would be hard for me to tell you what to improve on as it has been working so well for you.
    I think those last pounds are very very stubborn - Some of us spend quite a while trying to move the scale down to the ideal. I don't know your height but at 119 your BMI is probably way into what is considered normal and it is not easy to make the body lose more pounds when we get down there.

    I know you say you stall if you have more carbs but more vegetables may sometimes give people a bit of a boost. I would suggest trying out moving up the rungs by adding 5 carbs of veggies first and see how that goes.

    About your fitday -- it is looking good. Most of us eat more veggies than that and most of us would watch our artificial sugar intake more (I would not be able to drink those soft drinks myself without getting some issued) But if you lost doing this - you may not be affected.

      I would say focus on what you know you can improve everyday, your fitness level. You don't even have to think about poundage stalls, if you know you are improving your fitness status everyday, you are on the upward path, and it does so many things for you! Exercise makes your brain work better, creates healthy (and more) capillaries in your body to clear waste products, keeping you younger... I say, exercise more! be fit, and you won't be worried about those last pounds so much.

      Good job on your major losses too!
