  • Induction Day 7 Menu

I'd appreciate any sort of feedback on my menu. This is typical of what I've been eating so far.

I'm 30 yrs old, male, and I weighed 270 at the start of this plan, and my current goal is to lose about 70 lbs. I work out 3-4 times a week, about an hour or hour and a half of pretty vigorous cardio and strength workout.

    Meal 1:
    - 2 Eggs scrambled with 1 cup of mushrooms
    - 2-3 long strips of bacon.

    Meal 2:
    - 1 Sausage (no sugar added) (large deli type)
    - 1 cup salad greens with 1-2 tbsp of mayo

    Meal 3 :
    - About 4-5 oz (about the size of my closed fist) beef or a hamburger pattie that is 100% beef, pan cooked in a little bit of butter
    - 1 cup salad greens (romance, iceburg, etc) with 1-2 tbsp of mayo

    Meal 4:
    - 2 strips of bacon
    - about 3-4 oz. of baked chicken breast (no additives, no sauce etc just salt and pepper)

I don't always eat 4 times a day, but that is what I ate yesterday.

I'm drinking at least 3/4 gallon of water each day.

I'm not tired of this food. I'm actually not a big fan of bacon but I've been eating it for the fat and I don't mind it too much. It has no added sugar ("no sugar" on package, none on ingredients list. Had to throw out the first package I bought when I started, it had added sugar)

But I really love mayo, and I can eat beef just fine without any sauce or condiments so I'm not having any problems with food selection.

Thank you in advance for any feedback.

It is a very good menu.
I would worry a bit about under-eating but if you feel full and if you add that 4th meal when you feel you need it that should be fine.
You can add some variation in there. Other veggies and other dishes but if you are fine that is OK. Taking your multivitamin too?

Looks good to me (As long as you aren't hungry, as Liv said above)

Thank you for your positive feedback, it's very reassuring.

Right now I'm taking a multivitamin, chromium picolinate, borage oil and fish oil.

I don't feel very hungry normally, and when I do I eat. I think I'll continue to eat semi-small meals about 4 times a day every 4 hours or so to make sure I'm not eating too little.

Again thank you to both of you.
