  • Day 1 and worried i've gone wrong already

Please help, it's only 5:44pm and i was hungry so i ate dinner already!

Breakfast: 2 scrambled duck eggs (scrambled in butter)

    Lunch: half a roast chicken

    Snack: 20 olives

Dinner: (this is the problem, i was so hungry i couldn't wait so i ate dinner half an hour ago) A pound of squid fried in butter and garlic. I ate all the butter leftover in the frying pan too.

What should i do when i get hungry tonight? I have some cheese and some lettuce. I just feel like i'm consuming too many calories and I'm going to put on weight.

It is normal to be hungry the first couple of days. The body is looking for carbs and sending out "fake" signals - just keep eating it will not hurt you. Around day 3 you will turn to ketosis (fat burning) and things will go well.

But you are not following the RULES. You are supposed to eat 3 cups of veggies every day. Where did your veggies go?

And drink plenty of water - no artificial sugars -just water.

Thanks. Thanks for reminding me about the veggies, I forgot to include them in the meals earlier.

You should also try to spread your veggies out among all of your meals. Eating them all at once can cause a blood-sugar spike & cravings I ate a lot more the first few days than I did the rest of induction...do as the good Dr. said: eat when you are hungry & stop eating when you aren't hungry anymore, even if there is still food on your plate.
