  • Please review my menu for tomorrow

    Here is my menu for tomorrow. It seems like a lot of food. Is it? Im a 24 year old female, 5"8, currently weighing 160 lbs. I'm exercerising daily.

    Breakfast

    4 eggs
    5 slices bacon
    coffee w/ 1tbsp cream & 3 drops liquid splenda


    Snack
    2 cheese sticks

    Lunch
    1 cup salad with dressing
    2 chicken breasts
    1 oz chedder cheese

    Dinner
    4 eggs
    1 quarter pound beef patty

    Snack
    sliced turkey with lettuce & mayonaise
    1 oz chedder cheese

    lots of water

    Are you eating until you are full? I wouldn't eat a certain "number" of food (i.e. four slices of bacon), just enough until I am satisfied.

    The only areas that I would be concerned are that you need more veggies, then focus on spreading your veggies more throughout the day and to be careful on your cheese allowances.

    Good to see that you are exercising daily!

      Thank you!! I have a question -- how do you tell when you're satisfied/not hungry? I have trouble with this

        Can you not tell? Normally when the stomack is filled the brain will send out a message - full. It is often a good idea to eat slow or to eat part of your meal and then wait and see if you feel full

          The minimum for veggies is 3 cups/day. Either 3 cups "salad" veggies or 2cups "salad" veggies and 1 cup "other" veggies.

          Try eating 1/2 of what you've planned & see if your body complains
