  • Too many vegetables?

    Today I had:

    Breakfast
3 Eggs, 1/2C Mushrooms (sauteed in butter), 1oz Cheddar
1C Coffee w/2 tbsp Heavy Cream, 1 bottle water

    Pre-Lunch
    1C Spinach salad, 1/2C Arugula wth Vinegar/Oil

    Lunch
    Tuna Steak about 8oz, 4 trees of Cauliflower I guess=1 cup (boiled), 6 Asparagus Spears(boiled), 1/2C Zucchini (boiled), 1/4C Chinese Cabbage(boiled)
    3 Bottles of water

I feel like I'm done eating for today.

This type of menu is common for me, usually I eat more Spinach salads as my veggies than Zucchini, Cauliflower etc. I feel bad about all these "other" foods I loaded up on today.

I am not doing Extended Induction this week. I am trying OWL Rung 1 but it's so darn complicated so I'm going to try and see if eating like this works for me individually. I'm not gonna go crazy and skip rungs or anything at random, I just wanted to add a bit more veggies every other day or so.
I'm not doing any sweeteners, frankenfoods, sodium nitrites, processed ingredients (well trying to) etc.

I would appreciate suggestions from you guys. Bless Y'all

    Re: Too many vegetables?

It does seem complicated at first...but looking at your menu above...veggies upto and including the broccoli are the std "3 cups". So look up the carb values of the remaining veggies. Keep track of those. (Technically, they should be 5 carbs). If your weight loss slows or stops...cut back on the extra veggie carbs.

      >>1 bottle water>>
      >>
      3 Bottles of water>>

How large are the bottles? Is that a MINIMUM of 64 ounces?

Many people find that drinking 1/2 their current weight in ounces of water works great!

        Feeling bad about Induction vegetables?

They're not likely to ruin anything!

Thank y'all for your response. They are 16oz bottles. I need to start drinking more probably soon. I usually drink a 1.5L bottle during workday then come home and drink 2 16oz bottles or so.

You will need to work up to the 145 ounces ... but that should be your goal, imho.

And don't let "soon" be too far off!

Good point. I've never drank this much water before lol, I guess I will go for three 1.5L bottles a day. I can't drink my communitys tap water cause it's so polluted, so I have to buy bottles of water But I think it will still be cheaper than buying diet colas every week. Awesome.

Did you consider buying a water filter instead?
