Day 4 - can you critize/check menu 4 me?

  • Day 4 - can you critize/check menu 4 me?

    B: 2-3 eggs and bacon (about 5-6 slices)
    S: String Cheese
    L: Chicken with salad (salad mix & spinach w/ cucumbers - probably 2 cups total salad) with ranch dressing.
    S: celery with cream cheese (2 - 3 stalks)
    D: Protein (either steak, pork or chicken) with 1 to 2 cups veggies (varies from day) - prepared either with oil, and/or butter.
    S: Celery or cucumber. (I did do SF jello and cool whip(dollop) on Day 2 - but not after that one time.

    I have one cup of coffee in the morning with half and half and one sweetener, then water ALL DAY long. Sometimes I'll do one can of diet pepsi, but not a fan, so can live without it.... but I was a HUGE pepsi drinker, so I bought the diet just in case I needed a hit or something at dinner time. I can live without.

    Please let me know what you think. Am I eating enough?

    Looks good as long as you are losing and feeling fine. Just make sure there are no carrots in your mix.

      I am one of those if it's in the book, it's gospel sort of guys. 4 cups of salad plus celery,cucumber goes over the 3 cups daily limit. If you aren't having problems, you can evaluate for yourself, but I can only advise according to the book. You can see my video here for more thoughts:


      How are you feeling after eating this menu? Half and half is not allowed on Induction, as it contains more lactose than heavy cream. As for not enough or too much, are you still hungry or satiated afterwords? Your body should be your guide in terms of how much you should eat.
