Hi everyone! I'm on day 13 of induction. I have lost 8 lbs so far. But the scale hasn't moved since last friday - I was 8 lbs down then and haven't lost anything since. I know it's normal to not lose some weeks, but I expected something in the second week of Induction. I have another 92 lbs to lose.
Anyway, I keep wondering if I'm eating anything 'bad'. I drink 64 oz of water a day (trying to up that each day too) no soda, no coffee, no artificial sweeteners and no extra table salt. Here's a sample of what I eat the most:
Breakfast - hamburger patty (20%fat) with a slice of pepper jack cheese on top, 1 cup (from fresh) sauteed mushrooms in garlic and butter.
Lunch - sauteed shrimp (1 cup) in butter with a sprinkle of mozz. cheese on top (about 1/8 cup or less) and 2 celery sticks with 1 tbsp blue cheese dressing.
Dinner - Grilled chicken breast with 1 cup salad (mixed greens) and 1 tbsp blue cheese dressing.
Snack - 3 slices bacon.
Here's another:
Breakfast - 2 scrambled eggs and 2 sausage links (made from ground pork sausage) with a sprinkle of cheddar cheese on the eggs.
Lunch - Small piece of salmon sauteed in butter and garlic with 2 celery sticks and 1 tbsp blue cheese dressing.
Dinner - Pork chop (baked) with 2 cup salad and 1 tbsp blue cheese dressing.
Snack - 2 oz cheddar cheese or 2 handfuls of pork rinds.
I haven't eaten any sugar or cheated at all. The blue cheese dressing is 1 carb for 2 tbsps. Do you think I'm not eating enought? Some days my calorie count is low - around 1,200 calories a day. My percentages of fat/protein/carbs stays almost exactly 65/30/5, somedays it's been like 67/30/3.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated
