    Hi everyone! I'm on day 13 of induction. I have lost 8 lbs so far. But the scale hasn't moved since last friday - I was 8 lbs down then and haven't lost anything since. I know it's normal to not lose some weeks, but I expected something in the second week of Induction. I have another 92 lbs to lose.

    Anyway, I keep wondering if I'm eating anything 'bad'. I drink 64 oz of water a day (trying to up that each day too) no soda, no coffee, no artificial sweeteners and no extra table salt. Here's a sample of what I eat the most:

    Breakfast - hamburger patty (20%fat) with a slice of pepper jack cheese on top, 1 cup (from fresh) sauteed mushrooms in garlic and butter.
    Lunch - sauteed shrimp (1 cup) in butter with a sprinkle of mozz. cheese on top (about 1/8 cup or less) and 2 celery sticks with 1 tbsp blue cheese dressing.
    Dinner - Grilled chicken breast with 1 cup salad (mixed greens) and 1 tbsp blue cheese dressing.
    Snack - 3 slices bacon.

    Here's another:

    Breakfast - 2 scrambled eggs and 2 sausage links (made from ground pork sausage) with a sprinkle of cheddar cheese on the eggs.
    Lunch - Small piece of salmon sauteed in butter and garlic with 2 celery sticks and 1 tbsp blue cheese dressing.
    Dinner - Pork chop (baked) with 2 cup salad and 1 tbsp blue cheese dressing.
    Snack - 2 oz cheddar cheese or 2 handfuls of pork rinds.

    I haven't eaten any sugar or cheated at all. The blue cheese dressing is 1 carb for 2 tbsps. Do you think I'm not eating enought? Some days my calorie count is low - around 1,200 calories a day. My percentages of fat/protein/carbs stays almost exactly 65/30/5, somedays it's been like 67/30/3.

    It's perfectly normal. Heres a link to a post I did last week. It is my weight log for my first 8 weeks. Today, I hit week 9 and intend on doing another post similar at week 16. Please note everyone is different and results will vary, but this will at least give you a good idea on how weight loss will vary week to week. Good luck on your journey!

      Yes almost guaranteed not to lose anything that second or third week so you are right on schedule
      It will move again.
      You menu is looking good. Just make sure to do some variation so that you do not go crazy. Drink plenty of water. Do not go and starve yourself which leads to bloodsugar spikes and therefor is unproductive on Atkins but otherwise no reason to work yourself up over amounts. I thought your lunches were a bit skimpy but I can eat a lot
      The cheese should not be pre grated - Pre grated cheese from the store contain starches (just check the package for ingredients)

        Thank you guys so much for the replies! Glad to know everything looks good, it's very reassuring I'm looking forward to weighing myself next week and seeing if I lose a few more lbs! Thanks again!
