  • Help!

I just posted in another forum and it was suggested I come here. Here's my menu - if there's criticisms, I'd love to hear it.

    breakfast

2 eggs scrambled in butter with a tbsp heavy cream
    1/4 cup diced ham
    slice of cheddar

    Lunch

1 cup of salad greens, a few black olives, handful of sauteed mushrooms, salad dressing (1 carb per 2 tbsp serving)

    6 oz of tuna
    2 tbsps approximately of mayonnaise

    Snack
    The rest of the salad

    Dinner
1 and 1/2 chicken breast sauteed in butter with italian seasoning and garlic
1 cup of zucchini sauteed in butter with a tbsp of parmesan cheese and a little garlic and onions.

    Late night snack
A little bit of the chicken breast

that's pretty much what my days are like. I do eat a fair amount of fish but as I work at home, and can usually avoid dinner meetings, I have tight control over what comes in this house. There isn't anything to really tempt me and I've been sticking to blander food so I'm not tempted to walk in and much when I shouldn't.

I think your menu can be tweaked a little bit, mostly in terms of the veggies you eat. Green beans and zucchini are one cup veggies...I see you had one cup of each. Mind you, I'm assuming you're in induction. If you are, take a look at the acceptable veggie lists again. I think your fat intake and protein intake look pretty good. During induction we strive for 65% fat, 30% protein and 5% carbs most of which come from the acceptable veggies. www.fitday.com is a great tool to help you keep track. I think if you get your veggie measurements right, you'll be good! Just don't forget to drink your water and exercise.
