  • Please check my menu.

Hi Everyone! Could you please check my menu? I have been at 169 for a week and I just want to make sure I am not messing anything up. I am in OWL 1.

Breakfast: .5 T butter, 2 scrambled eggs and 2-3 slices of bacon (this bacon contains no sugar). 2-3 days out of the week I have 1c of coffee with a half a packet of splenda and 2T of half and half.

Snack: Either 1oz of colby jack cheese or 1/2c of raw cauliflower with 1T of ranch dressing.

Lunch: 1 can of Tuna with 2T mayo and 1 med celery stalk chopped. A SF jello cup. twice in the tree weeks I have been doing this, I have had Chili's fajita trio without the tortillas. I will also include 2C of romaine with 2T ranch dressing if I am still hungry.

Snack: 2 slices of bacon with or 1 oz of colby jack cheese.

Dinner: It can be any of the following: Roast chicken, steak, cheeseburgers with oopsie rolls, pork chops or roast, fish or shrimp. This is always served without gravy. I also have veggies such as broccoli, cauliflower, asparagus, and zuchinni.

I have also had MUP a few times and two mock danishes while I was on induction. I drink a minimum of 80oz of water/day.

    Thanks again for looking!

    Re: Please check my menu.

Its normal to stay at the same weight for a week, everyone has a tiny stall every so often.
But if you want, id take out everything that you know would work better without. (oopsie rolls, cheese, ranch, sweetner, jello) sounds mean of me =) but try.
=] Stick to lots of cooked veggies with your meats, there good for you. And slobber butter on em =P
    Ready for change

The half-and-half is a tad early on the rungs... maybe switch to heavy cream instead? I would call Chili's and see if they have info on the ingredients in their fajitas. Sauces, especially restaurant sauces and dressings are notorious for hidden sugars. I don't eat restaurant salad dressings anymore just for this reason. I would also encourage you to venture out in the veggie aisle and try new veggies in OWL 1. I've "discovered" a few new ones that are now regular additions to my diet.

In any case yes you can expect a stall entering OWL. Just give your body time to adjust and enjoy it. OWL is tasty, tasty and healthy, healthy!

According the menu of chili's restaurant
Order online from Chili's Grill & Bar for pickup or delivery. Enjoy fresh burgers, fajitas, ribs, and famous margaritas. Find a location near you today!

Faijita - without the tortilla has 23 carbs. So it is probably loaded with sugar

I guess I should not eat the fajitas anymore. The only sauce on the fajitas is somthing they call call a "sizzle sauce". I checked the ingridents for it and it's all acceptable spices. Maybe the whole white onion and green pepper included contributes to the high carb count. I didn't eat the onion anyway.

those are total carbs not net you will have to figure in the fiber in an onion that size and the peppers but still that is a lot ofr just one meal.

what spices are in the sauce as they to will have fiber carbs
