    I know I shouldn't have had the bread/hazelnut chocolate spread... They're out until I'm in full blown MTCE or the end of pre-mtce.

    your phases says rung 5 so if you are really there you can't have the corn and lima beans until later rungs.

    How do you feel? did that amount of food satisfy your hunger when you ate it? if so then the rest of your fitday looks good if you ate just cause it was legal then you over ate and if you stopped eating before your hunger as satisfied you under ate.

    you do know you are veggie low right? we keep the 3 cups from induction and then add 5 more net grams of carbs of those veggies on rung one of OWL so you should be having more induction legal veggies.

      You are eating like rung 9 (bread) or maintenance? Is that where you are? We cannot really review it unless we know what you are supposed to eat like.

      I would not lose on that menu. Too little veggie carbs too many carbs from other sources.

        Bread was a total cheat... See below about the veggies. I need more veggies.

        Thanks, actually I pulled the corn out of the mixed veggies and didn't eat them... I also pulled most of the Lima Beans out. Lol. I ate a ton of salad, maybe I didn't figure it right. One full plate of salad with lunch and the same with supper's veggies. I do have trouble getting veggies in during the day. Other than salad, what would you suggest? I have been enjoying steamed broccoli lately, but it isn't very good when it's warmed up. What should I mix into b-fast to veggie it up?

        BTW, I am just finishing up the chapter on OWL (chapter 11 or 12?) I only have about 15 lbs left to loose and I am loosing 2 lbs on average a week. My CCLL seems to be pretty high. I lost 12-15 lbs during the first week on induction. I still haven't figured it out as I have more to loose. I'm hoping it's in the 50's or 60's.

        Stalled right now due to some poor menu choices. Stopped with the aspartame drinks, pepperettes containing fillers/sodium, grains etc... I probably had a full cup of the mixed veggies minus the corn/lima beans. I much prefer fresh veggies.

          I accidentally put yesterday's menu in today's slot, so I put today's menu in yesterday's slot. Should I add a cup of another type of veggie?

            you could make omlettes with chopped onions,peppers, tomotoes any leaf green like spinach,brocoli that not good warmed up steamed stuff in a egg muffin would be great.

            to make egg muffins you put the veggies in the muffin tins add cheese and any meats you want then crack 2 eggs for each muffin youare making and mix them up in a bowl. pour over the filled tins and bake at 325 for about 20 min or until the egg is set.

            you can freeze them and then reheat for breakfast

              yep and add some fat to your veggies as you are low fat right now.

                  yep those are fats but you can add others if you want a nut oil a seed oil, even bacon grease is okay. Just don't use anything that has transfats in it or has been hydrogenated

                          rememebr you got to keep those induction 3 cups of veggies plus the new rung one veggie amounts so you are having lots of veggies as part of your atkins OWL.

                          also Dr Atkins counted cheese as one gram of carb per ounce/inch so even though fitday says it is much less if you want Dr Atkins results then you need to count like he does. same for nuts one ounce is 5 net grams of carbs even though fitday and other carb counters say differently.
