  • Need someone to check my FitDay Journal

    I started to use FitDay last week and would like some feedback as to how I'm doing. The first day of FitDay was my first day of Induction so I've got a few more days before moving up to the next level.

    Next question is how do I get my FitDay journal to view here.

    You make your fitday public. Look under profile and find the setting and then you post a link. I will move this to the review my menu section where we usually deal with this stuff

        To make your Fitday public, log in, go to the Profile tab, click on the blue Public Settings Page at the bottom, click on the "Make My Journal Public" button. Then you'll get a link at the top:

        Post that here.

          Your Splenda count seems off:

          A packet is .91 net carbs, and a Tbs. of the granular is 1.5 net carbs.

          What are the ingredients in the Acai B-12 drink?

          Half and half isn't allowed on Induction.

          I hope you're planning on more food for 3/9 ... 500 calories is nowhere near enough for a day.

          Looking at 3/8 ... you don't have enough calories.

          And your net carbs are WAAAAAAY too low. You only have 8.6 ... you should be much closer to 20 net.

            regarding half-n-half, the chapter on Induction in DANDR, under Beverages, lists cream (heavy or light) limit of 2-3 tablespoons. I considered half-n-half as light cream. Not correct?

            regarding Splenda, I think I got this info off the back of a box of individual packets. Can't remember now but I'll update it.

              Light cream is not the same as Half and Half.
              You need the higher fat product.


              In the United States, cream is usually sold as:
              • Half-and-half (10.5–18% fat)
              • Light, coffee, or table cream (18–30% fat)
              • Medium cream (25% fat)
              • Whipping or light whipping cream (30–36% fat)
              • Heavy or heavy whipping cream (36% or more)
              • Extra-heavy or manufacturer's cream (38–40% or more), generally not available at retail.

                Light cream is not equal to half and half. Half and half has milk in it.

                The carb count of Splenda is 0.9 net carbs per packet, 24 net carbs per cup of the granular.
