    Ok. So I completed my first day on induction. Before you click on the link below, please note that I realize that I ate too much spinach - I should have only had one cup.

    I know my menu was a little plain, but I am trying to make this easy for myself at first so that I can follow it.

    Please click on the link to review my food for the day and give feedback and ideas for improvement.

    You should enter your food in the "raw" state as much as possible.

    So your entry for eggs should be "eggs, whole, raw". How you cooked them doesn't matter.

    You have too few net carbs ... you only have 12.7, which is waaay less than you should be getting for sound nutrition.

    Your fat % is a bit low and your protein % is a bit high.

    Are MOST of your net carbs from Induction vegetables? Spinach doesn't provide much in the way of net carbs.

    How much water did you have?

      I had 74 ounces of water today.

      What else do you suggest that I eat to get more net carbs? I am trying to get in the neighborhood of 10 net carbs from veggies - but when you have to get two of your veggie servings from the 'salad vegetables list' - there is not much carb in any of those.

      This is harder than I thought it would be.

        Oh - and with the food journal - am I supposed to enter all of the meat and stuff raw?

          One "rule of thumb" is to drink 1/2 your current weight in ounces of water. It works for many.

          If that's what you started with, yes.

          In your other topic, I posted a link and an idea for getting more net carbs from vegetables.
