  • On Day 5

    Here is what I have had today .....
    a hard boiled egg and a half of a slice of plain celery - breakfast

    an atkins carmel , peanut, chocolate , nougought bar - snack -box says it is ok for all phases and it has 3 net carbs .....MMMMMM

    Lunch I had a small salad ( lettuce, eggs, cheese, califlour, radishes , and cucumbers), with a tbsp of ranch dressing
    and a left over bacon cheesburger ( obviously no bread, just burger , onions american cheese and bacon

    this afternoon i had a stalk of celery with natural peanut butter and another hard boild egg

    I have had 2 glasses of sugar free koolaid - ( No carbs)


    not sure whats for supper , its 4:30 now and i am really not too hungary, but if i skip i am afraid i will want to graze....


    So Please let me know how it looks , anything I can fix, add ...ect....

    I kicked my caffeine the first 2-3 days ... doing ok now but I am thinking of heading out to look at the labels on diet rootbeer ..... Just something better than water and this koolaid ... Thanks all as of Day 4 in the morning I had lost 5 lbs...

    I am so sorry I just read "rules of Posting your menu " AFTER posting my menu .. I do not have exact amounts , I will try another time. Hopefully some one can still help in telling me if i am eating anything wrong . .

      Not all the ingredients are allowed on Induction though.

        Koolaid- its is sugar free , but about 3-4 glasses a day , and mabey 2 glasses of plain water......Snack bar I saw the peanuts and thought , "They arent allowed " but its Atkins and it says "Ok for all phases" Thats really depressing.

          Have you read the book, Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution (2002)? Do you know what the minimum amount of water you're supposed to be getting is? Do you know what the limit of sweetener is per day?

            Thank you , I am trying to to better . My book is Dr Atkins The NEw diet revolution BUT the latest date i can find on it is 1999. Heading out to thrift stores today to try and find it .

              Yes, you have an older book.
