thanks man... it really was just sucking it up and swallowing my (low carb) pride with the posts...

really hurt mentally to post them initially... but now that ive made a little progress... im REALLY glad i took those before pics.

I need to let you know that you have been an inspiration, as well as so many others on this board, for me to get started. I've been cruising ADBB for maybe a year or so, but made no honest effort. Lately I've seen what I've become, and I've gotten started on a plan. I'm making no excuses for the holidays- and so at the end of week 1, I've lost about 4 lbs. Regardless, you are one of the brave people who have posted pics and shown the very real possibility of success. Thanks, and please keep your updates coming. As for me, I ordered a camera today, and I'll be posting pics and updates as soon as it arrives. Thanks again,

Erik, you look wonderful, glad to have come back and see you post something. I hate to say it, you might not think so, but you were great looking before, just even moreso now because you look so much happier. Take care, almost there, I'm proud of you.
