Was, Am, Will be: 280/222/175ish.
Started Dec 2005 and lost 105 lbs by mid 2006, maintained loss for the most part until 2009...then really let go & gained some back... lol
so: Restart Progress: 12/28/09 ~ 235.1 01/04/10 ~ 229.0 01/11/10 ~ 229.0 Grrrrr.... (Induction= only 6lbs but lost 10 inches! yay) 01/18/10 ~ 227.4 01/5/10 ~ 226.8 02/01/10 ~ 222.6
Just want you to know that I am so proud of you (and don't even know you!) that I brought an Atkins-friend of mine up from 2 floors down in my office building just to show him your before and after pics! Amazing!!!!
Oh my I started the Body for life the first time 2 weeks into Atkins after I got a little weight off 12 Pounds and also after I got rid of the Most worst flu ever it was horrible. I started out Pretty Modest with the weights I am a lot stonger then I though But, I didn't go too heavy. As I went on further I really started loving weight lifting and began lifting heavier and heavier I get a high out of seeing how much weight I can lift. I probably did Body for life style workkouts for the First 6 months then I started Breaking My workouts into specific Body parts on specific days. This is when I really started getting Anal about my exercise I started really banking the itme in on running and increasing my milage while still lifting the weights. It then Hit me about 8 months into Atkins that I really really Wanted to Run a Marathon and with the Help of Betty and the Crew on Cool running thread I have been increasing my milage and doing really well at that. I found when I was really putting in the miles my weight lifting kinda went to **** and I have Just in the Past 6 weeks Picked it up again Hard core. I was still doing weights Just High reps low weight and wasn't seeing anything come of it. I am now lifting really heavy again and the definition and fat loss is marked even know I ahve not lost much in scale weight.
To tell you How I have progressed well I am lifting VERY heavy for me and it works for me I am always challenging my body with every workout pushing out that last rep that's when you know you got it and you figured it out. I am always learning and doing new things shocking my Body into wondering what the heck. I love the way things are going right now. I see Muscles I never knew I had I am getting tighter all the time. At one pouint I thought I would need a tummy tuck now I really don't think I will have to and I ahve had 2 Abdominal Surgeries too. It's amazing what our bodies will do when you push them I amaze myslef all the time.
I ahve had lots of Medical challenges along the way which Hit me hard and held me back Btu, I never made that an excuse I took a breadk and Pressed on to even higher levels and Now Iam Pushing it even farther.
It feels great to be in control and Know that what you are doing is Changing every single Piece of your Life I have comfort Knowing that I ahve Changed For the Better.
