    On the occasion of my 50 pound & 4 month milestones

    I thought I'd post some before and after shots, but I never thought how hard it would be to find full body shots of my "before" days. I was so careful not to let my whole self be photographed that this was ALL I could find, but they certainly illustrate the loss. I still have a long way to go, but I'm thrilled by my progress so far.

    Before @ 275 pounds, size 24: All taken in 2005, one in April, 2 at Christmas:


    After @ 225, size 18. All taken yesterday 5/3:


    I've been on Atkins for exactly 4 months as of yesterday, and have lost 50 pounds. Here are some stats about my progress:


    Female / Currently on Extended Induction (again), begun 6/2/08.

    I did Extended Induction from 1/3 to 5/9 (2006) and lost 55 pounds, so I know I can do it again!

            You look AWESOME! Congrats on the weight loss. KEEP IT UP. You look so much younger!!!!

            I have a five year old (and 8 year old and 5 month old) but the 5 year old weighs almost 50 lbs. I just keep telling myself that I'm lugging around on my body the weight of a 5 year old child and it keeps me focused. You've lost the weight of a whole 5 year old child already! How cool is that!

                  What a big difference! You look great!! Big congrats!! I personally think you kind of look like you've lost more...and there's so much change in your face.

                        Officially Re-Focusing on 12-28-09.

                        Was, Am, Will be: 280/222/175ish.
                        Started Dec 2005 and lost 105 lbs by mid 2006, maintained loss for the most part until 2009...then really let go & gained some back... lol

                        so:
                        Restart Progress:
                        12/28/09 ~ 235.1
                        01/04/10 ~ 229.0
                        01/11/10 ~ 229.0 Grrrrr....
                        (Induction= only 6lbs but lost 10 inches! yay)
                        01/18/10 ~ 227.4
                        01/5/10 ~ 226.8
                        02/01/10 ~ 222.6
