  • I'm all done!!!!

I started coming here January of this year. I began Atkins along with my husband on January 3rd. I lost at a slow rate, but lost nonetheless. My husband is still losing, and I am now in maintenance. After having two children and severe breast asymmetry, I decided to have breast augmentation. My surgery was April 3rd. I have decided to change my goal from 115lbs to 120lbs as I am now wearing a size 5 and I believe I look proportionate to my 'upper body'. I threw myself into maintenance quickly because the last few pounds came off very suddenly. I don't know if it is because of my recent surgery or not, but it came as a surprise. In any event, these are my before and after photos wearing the same pants. I have over 20 pairs of pants in my closet that I just wanted to fit into. Well, they are all size 6/7 and I am now a 4/5...so they are all a bit loose LOL!! I NEVER thought in a million years THAT would be a problem! What a wonderful problem it is though I started this journey wearing a size 12.
I will post again with pictures of my husband when he reaches goal. I am so proud of him and I am proud of me!

    I did it!!

                            Re: I'm all done!!!!

Thank you everyone I have to admit, I am having a hard time with maintenance and finding my CCL. I really am at a loss. I can see how easily people can snap back into their old eating habbits trying to find the CCL. I honestly was so focused on preparing OWL food, that I haven't quite found my medium. I eat low carb whole grain bread, sometimes oatmeal from Quaker Oats that is a weight management Oatmeal with lower carbs. I also eat nuts and berries. I started eating that low carb bread in the last couple of weeks, and still lost my pound in the week. We started eating Low Carb whole grain tortillas quite a few weeks ago, and still lose weight. This worries me simply because I am eating everything that I CAN eat, without going full blown. I am also a little afraid I guess. I don't want to be where I was before.
In any event, this will be something that I have to really begin focusing on. It was so much easier to lose the weight, than it is to maintain the weight. *sigh* Thanks again for all your nice comments, and all the support I recieved from everyone since I started this WOL.
