Indeed! It's funny how I agonized about it the first month or so (am I shrinking? am I shrinking?), and then when I decided to just stop paying attention and just eat properly and live my life, suddenly I wake up and I've lost 50 pounds.Originally posted by k5commando

Ok, well this time around, I started Atkins on January 15. I had done the weight loss parts of Atkins "successfully" a few times but never maintained properly. So it took 6 months to lose these first 50 pounds, which some consider slow because of how overweight I was when I started, but I've gone from a size 24 to a size 16 and don't really care how long it takes to lose this weight, so I am beyond happy. I exercise a ton, drink my water, and have almost no loose skin (really none to speak of). 150's a "dream weight" of mine, but I know I'll probably be very happy at 180 -- so in a sense, I am halfway there.
