Newbie here, Before and During Pics

    Newbie here, Before and During Pics

    Okay, because I like putting a face to name, and I love seeing before and after pics, I figured I'd better post my before and during pics. My before were at my highest of 206 pounds, I don't know how I let myself get to that stage. My during pics are me now at 185 pounds. I was down to 168 but I have since put that back on again. I lost the initial weight on the GI diet, but am looking to use the Atkins as I have used it before and know it works.


    So here goes...

    I can definately see a difference, posting these pics will help to motivate me and let me see what I never want to be again.

      I'm from Aberdeen in Scotland, I see you're from Wiltshire, never been down that way myself, but I bet you get better weather than we do!

        LOL, thanks for clarifying where Aberdeen was (I knew it was in Scotland).

          LOL, I'm used to being on boards in the States and I normally have to clarfiy where Aberdeen is. Sorry, I noticed you were from Wiltshire after I made my initial post so I edited it, never mind!

            I have never been to Scotland so cant really compare the weather, but I obviously realise that the further north in the country you go the worse the weather gets.

            I should have guessed that you were from Scotland really, as Caitlin is a very Scottish name isnt it?

              Ummm, I always thought Caitlin was Welsh, but I'm half Italian so there you go My first name is Cassandra which is Greek, my middle names are Summer Caitlin Lee but most people call me Summer, sorry to go way off topic there....

                  Officially Re-Focusing on 12-28-09.

                  Was, Am, Will be: 280/222/175ish.
                  Started Dec 2005 and lost 105 lbs by mid 2006, maintained loss for the most part until 2009...then really let go & gained some back... lol

                  so:
                  Restart Progress:
                  12/28/09 ~ 235.1
                  01/04/10 ~ 229.0
                  01/11/10 ~ 229.0 Grrrrr....
                  (Induction= only 6lbs but lost 10 inches! yay)
                  01/18/10 ~ 227.4
                  01/5/10 ~ 226.8
                  02/01/10 ~ 222.6

                        26 yr 5'2 F
                        Did Atkins on and off from Feb 2005 until April 2008. Fluctuated between 15 st 1/211lbs and 11 st 1/155lbs.
                        On different weightloss programme from 28th May 2008 start weight 14 st 11/207lbs.
                        Current weight 10st 3lbs/143lbs.
                        Ultimate Goal Weight 9 st/126lbs.

                            Thanks everyone for the vote of confidence I know in the earlier photos I had very little make up on, so here is another photo now with very little make up too. The lighting is a bit off and it's taken by my phone, as is the other one.



                            I can definately see a difference in the shape of my face as I know I certainly put on a lot there, but I still have that dreaded bit under my chin which I hate. I have about 40 pounds to lose to get into the Wedding Dress of my dreams, so I gotta keep on truckin'
