Thanks so much, everyone! You help inspire me to keep going.

Higgies, I have to tell you that every time I see you, I think about a guy I graduated with named Joe Higgins. There's the name Higgies, plus your currrent picture looks a lot like him, and the weird thing is that your avatar looks like a "patriot" football player -- which he was (we were the Berkmar Patriots). I didn't know him especially well, but was friends with his twin brother, Bill. But, you are just a little too young to be him... Still, weird similarities!

You look great! Look how small your stomach and butt is getting! Please do not lose all of your "back" though!

Atta girl! You know, when I started Atkins, Geoff only had one concern. He asked me in a small worried voice..."You're not going to lose your butt, are you?"

Okay, I probably should have posted this originally, but here's some evidence for the difference execise can make:

The first photo was taken in September.
The second photo was taken in January, after 4 full months on Atkins, but with limited exercise.
The third photo was taken in mid-February, about 7 weeks later, with almost daily exericse.

Well, he must be a good looking guy! LOL! Yup, it's the Patriots, but the New England Patriots. I grew up in Boston, and I don't think we have many relatives at all from my Dad's side of the family floating around...but I'm glad I can get you spooked!

Adena, I can't say it enough, you have done so well!

And I think those photos are so motivating! It's awe-inspiring how you've changed your body so drastically from the second pic to the third, and in less than 2 months!

Re: Half-way there: 55 down, 55 to go.

Thanks for the "bumps," HG. Normally I'd say away from strange bumps...

Thanks, WholeN. It's weird -- I similtanously feel very good about what I've accomplished, but am also feeling the "weight" (pun intended!) of all that I have left to lose/tone. But, Atkins works, and I know I'll get there. Eventually.

Lose2Cruise, I am mostly walking/jogging. I started out walking, with very small spurts (30 seconds) of jogging. Now I'm mostly jogging, with occasional walk breaks. And if you're thinking to yourself, "Oh, I can't run," believe me, I was SOOOO not a runner. I'm still not a "natural" by any means, but I'm doing it -- and it's giving me results. If I can do it, I promise -- so can you. And you and you and you and you.
