    Britt--thanks so much!

    thunder--I used to get upset when I'd see my calculated BMI, but now I just laugh all the way to the gym. It's really so inaccurate, as it doesn't account for lean muscle mass. Even when I reach my "goal" weight, according to the silly little BMI chart, I will still be OVERWEIGHT. I'm just so relieved that the thing says "MODERATELY OVERWEIGHT" now rather than severely overweight. Little victories, I suppose!

                          Geneva, I work out 6x a week, with one rest day. My routine changes, and I'm always trying to improve. Lately I've been doing a day of Boot Camp class, an upper body strength training day, a lower body strength training day, 2 cardio days, and a full-body circuit training/toning day each week. I had a couple months where I was doing a lot of running for my cardio (short runs were 2-3 miles, medium runs were 4-5 miles, long runs were 6-8 miles) but I've had to take a break from running because of a knee problem. Because of the knee, I've been doing a lot of stationary bike for my cardio, and I'm eager to get into swimming this summer.

                          I have to credit strength training with creating the most drastic changes in my body. I used to be incredibly apple-shaped, but lifting weights has really morphed my body.
