first of all, congratulations on graduation! and secondly... man, your shrinking away! i can't believe you weigh 240 in those pics! tell me you just haven't updated the stats.

No, I'm 220 in the pics.
And the 2nd pic is my mom's diploma, I just used her gap and gown to recreate my graduation pics now that I am in shape.

Yes, exercise is important but you don't have to start and run a marathon right away. I started with some basketball and worked my way up. Yes, I have some lose skin, but it's not really noticeable. I started weight training in January, it's awesome. I kind of depended on my school dining hall the last year, but I love all kinds of meats so this diet wasn't much of a problem for me. The main thing is to keep motivated and to not be let down by plateus, they sure happened to me but eventually you pass them. Don't try ridding years of abuse in a single day, live day by day and the pieces will add up. Just look at my pics, that is nearly a 100 pound difference in about 11 months. It would be a lot more but there were a couple of months where I took the diet a little to liberally. Like I said stay motivated, the weight WILL come off. I still remember the words someone told me on here. A year might seem like a long time, but a year from now you'll be hoping you started a year ago.
