yes he is a cute dog... fraiser is a very large lap dog and the reason I get out walking!!
and guess what? I just got off the scale and I'm down two more pounds!! (that's 3 since saturday!)

Hi guys

thanks for those notes of welcome and encouragement. I do appreciate them!
It has been one week and I am only down three pounds. I am a little discouraged but I do feel better. It feels good to be in control of my food. There has been no cheating, not even at our staff appreciation lunch! I have to accept that it will take awhile to get this weight off.... (plus I need to stay off the scale).
Seeing all your after pictures is great motivation.

yes that was last year in mazatlan.... we try to go somewhere warm to get away from the canadian winter!

Good for you for posting starting pictures! And I don't think your pictures are bad at ALL! Make sure you take some just for the sake of weight loss, too. I wish I'd taken starting pictures. I had to go searching for existing "bad" pictures, which makes a weight loss comparison more difficult.

I'm looking forward to seeing updated progress pics.
