I've got to get back to the weight training. I still think I could really do some more morphing on this body...and the best way to do it is via weight training. If you want to change the SHAPE of your body...weight train.

You are right. The weight training can really change your body! There was a time. Not 5 years ago that I was heavy into weight training. At the gym everyday bright and early as soon as they opened. Along with some running life was good and I felt great. Then the babies came. LOL, I love my girls but they sure put a hurt on my body. As of Monday I am back into my old workout routine. 30 minutes weight training, 30 minutes running or bike or elliptical. I know I will see some changes if I just stick with Atkins and my workout routine.
I can't wait to see updated pics of you once you hit the weights. You look fantastic now! Good luck and keep it up!!
I run too. That's my problem lately....I don't want to take the time off of running to do the weight training!! But, I know that the weight training is what its going to take to continue to tighten and tone my body.
I like to lift heavier weights at lower reps too. I don't do the low weight/high rep regime. My arms have turned out very nice. My legs have great definition too...underneath the excess skin....

LOL, yeah there was a time when I could bench press my own body weight. Those days are long gone.
I’m starting out lighter with the high reps until I get stronger. Right now I’m only bench-pressing 30lbs. Three sets of 15 reps. Then just some 10lb curls with the same reps. Next week I’ll up the weights.
I was the same way with my running. My sister and I have been doing all these 5K’s around town and they are so much fun and we really enjoy ourselves so I didn’t want to stop doing that to take time to lift weights.
But then I thought about how I use to look and what I was doing exercise wise to look like that. Weights are an important part of that. So I’ve made the commitment to do it. Lift the weights and put forth the effort. I know it will pay off.
WOW!!! You look amazing! i gotta ask... did you ever exercise!? cause i look how you used to look and im afraid i wont loose all my rolls and fat! What do you think!? Please help! and you do look amazing!
