Man, I am absolutely blown away. Here I was thinking of posting my 1 yr. pictures and I see your thread. I am blown away. I just lost my mother in april, and I've been able to make it cheat free through 6 mos of her illness and hospitalizations and then her eventual death, where she too lost her battle.
A wife and partner is very different than a mother. 4 yrs is much longer than 6 months. I know this propelled you into the changes...and I just hung on to my changes through the maze of grief...But I have to say, I really really respect your journey here. I think YOU should be YOU-TUBED-TOO! People here and there need to hear your story...(maybe one day you'll be there with that idea).
Thank you very much for your photos and your truth! You've changed my experience here deeply today, and I've been around for a yr...

Mike, thanks for putting your story out there for people like me who can see a little bit of themselves in what you have both been thru and accomplished.
My condolences on the loss of your wife and my congratulations on the new discovery of yourself. I wish you all the best.
What an amazing story, yet sad. Sometimes it takes going through the worse time of our lives to realize how important it is to take care of ourselves. I want to thank you for sharing your courageous journey with us.
You look absolutely superb, and your new suit jacket looks very chic on you!
Thanks Mike for share your story. I needed that. One of the many things I love about being on this board, it's always a source of inspiration. Congratulations an much continued to success in this WOL!
