I never said I didn't see any change. Just not as much as I would have expected for losing 100 lbs.

But thanks everyone for your words of encouragement. Because of them the next 100 lbs doesn't seem quite so far away.

              Re: Be afraid, very afraid...

              Ok, I'll be honest.

I don't see any change except in your face, your neck and chin, your arms, your chest, your abdomen, and the hip/thigh area. Those parts have changed significantly.

But I don't see any difference in your toes or your eyelashes.............

                  Re: Be afraid, very afraid...

Thanks to everyone for your praise. With a 100 pound weight loss in about 6 months, I DO feel a HUGE difference. Before, when i had to go somewhere I'd always be thinking, Oh man... if I go to the mall can I walk to where I have to go? And if I can't will I be able to find some place where I can sit? The booths at the food court were too small for me and the benches were usually full. But now if I have to go somewhere I plan my walks in such a way to get the full distance in. Even if it means going far out of my way.

For those that don't know, on May 6th/ 07 had a mild heart attack. After they did an angiogram they found 2 blockages. So right there on the table they asked me if I wanted them to do an angioplasty where they would put a stint in the artery. I figured I was there anyways so they might as well have a party. They didn't do anything with the second blockage because they said it's not in a place where it would do much if any damage. Furthermore they doubted that they could find a stint small enough to put it in there. Anyways, after recovery I signed up for Cardiac Rehab and they started me walking 1 mile, 5 days a week. Now I'm up to 1.5 miles, 5 days a week and 3 days of Resistance Training per week. Perhaps that's why there seems to be a fairly significant change in the last side pic, even though it's only 20 pounds.

Bren: Thanks for calling me a young man. When I hit my 30's I was shocked when people started calling me sir. I don't feel like a sir. I still feel like I'm a teenager at heart.

Jimmie: Thanks for the round of applause.

Evermind: Dammit, now everyone's going to be commenting on how fat my eyelashes and toes are.

Promise: For some reason I've always had a problem with weight on my chest for as long as I can remember. Some people pack it on their butt but I pack it on my gut and chest. Not exactly flattering for a guy to have bigger boobs then the woman he's dating. But it's nice that I've graduated from a "D" cup to a "C" cup.
