165-127 second time around...

  • 165-127 second time around...

    I started Atkins for the second time around at the end of March. Here is the picture that made me realize how much weight I actually gained back from my previous attempt at Atkins (198-125).... I was up again by 40 pounds. How in the world could I let myself do this?? I have been struggling these past few months and probably have started induction 10 times. I am posting my now pictures so I can look at them and realize that the last 10 pounds to goal are super close and not to give up.

    I am in the background of this picture. I saw this and realized that all my hard work from the first time around was going down the drain.


    Here is a picture of me now at 127-130.. I have 10 more pounds to lose.

    You are very close to your goal, you will make it!

    I can not wait for next year when I get to wear a bikini!! Good luck!

          Honestly, the pictures are so tiny that I barely see you, I can not see the differences because of that.
          But I congratulate you for the efforts and I wish you strenght to pursuive your journey!

                Thanks so much!!!! I do a spinning class ,light weight training (occasionally) and pilates. I haven't done much this summer except my spinning class though. I was really strict with myself when I first started in March. Exercise everyday! (a little obsessed) But now I am comfortable with just spinning 3 days a week. I will start back pilates and weight training when the kids go back to school. Thanks again for all the nice comments

                            1st goal: 139 (earlier weight)
                            what the rungs mean to me:
                            rung 1 - more veggies
                            rung 2 - dairy (some milk in coffee)
                            rung 3 - seeds, nuts (mostly sprinkled on salads)
                            rung 4 - berries, melon
                            rung 5 - wine -
                            rung 6 - beans, hummus
                            rung 7 - other fruits
                            rung 8 - carrots/ potatoes (nah, prolly not)
                            rung 9 - whole grains (fresh Dutch breads...)
                            Major Goal - 128 lbs/ healthy range
                            (on to pre-maintenance)
