Hey Ya'll - Well, it has been a long time since I posted on here. I got a text from a friend with an old picture of us just the other day and it kinda shocked me and reminded me that I have come a long way. It was perfect timing because I was getting discouraged and felt like I was still as big as ever, so it was good to see I have actually made some progress. Why is it that our brains don't keep pace with our weight loss sometimes? Many times I still feel like the 310 lb guy I used to be...ugh.
I didnt do all of this weight loss with Atkins, but that is how a lot of the weight was lost and what got me on the right path. I now do a different program to go along with my working out but it is based on lower carbs with lots of protein and and higher fiber carbs in the evening - good old green veggies!
So anyway here are some pics that made me feel kinda good to look back at today.....I have another 50 lbs to go but I feel like I can make it now after seeing where I came from!
Oh yea, and thanks to Sherri for reminding me - I am gettin healthy too! My cholesterol went from 292 down to 180 and my blood pressure dropped down to 110/65ish from being in the pre-hypertension ranges!!! So those who think eating meats and fats will raise ur cholesterol - TAKE THAT !

NOW - These are around 220 lbs workin down to 170lbs!
