    Check out my ugly mug.....

    this is me, in August 2007, just 8 weeks after having what I call "6Tuple" Bypass surgery. The girl next to me is one of my daughters. We are at Hershey Park, and she is more tired than I am. It was 95 degrees that day, and Hershey Park is rather hilly. I am, sadly, 17 pounds lighter in this photo than I am in real life today.

    I will post the "normal" before picture as soon as I have my wife take one. In the mean time, maybe you wanted to know what I look like.

    I'm a father of twin daughters, whose main goal in life is to set a positive example for them.

    SW 315 1.02.08
    CW 294 on 3.18.09
    1st Goal.... 299... Met on Feb. 3rd, 2009
    2nd goal... hopefully 275 by May 15th, 2009
    Ultimate goal 180 by sometime in 2010.

        Great picture! I remember my first trip to Hershey Park with the hilly walking.... I was very tired. Can't wait to start watching you post "after" pics.


        It is nice seeing a picture where I actually have a neck!

          Great pic, papa. You look like a fun guy and your daughter is darling. Your surgery should be a great motivator so I'm sure you will do very well with your weight loss. Welcome aboard!

            Thanks all. Yeah, that was one rough day in Hershey. And I bought that hat at Hershey because I entertain / DJ at children's parties and I thought it would be fun / goofy for them.

              I think for guys, we all feel immortal until something big happens...

                i love Hershey park. Much more now than a couple years ago... especially the zoo part of it. We usually go around Christmas time to see everyone dressed up in their holiday finest and all the lights and stuff... and the reindeer.

                  I have seen your posts as I have lurked around the boards for the last several weeks so it is nice to be able to put a face with the name. You said: "I bought that hat at Hershey because I entertain / DJ at children's parties and I thought it would be fun / goofy for them."

                  I could use a hat like that for the same reason. I entertain at children's parties and other events and have an assortment of quirky hats that I wear and the kids seem to love them. I entertain as a comedy magician, face painter, balloon twister, or clown.

                  Bye the way...your daughter is beautiful and I commend you for starting on your journey to better health so you can be there for your kidz for years to come.

                          It was ablout $22 if I recall correctly.... but well worth it for when I do kids parties. They seem to love it. I also have a hat that is bigger than that, and is a Sponge Bob hat.

                          btw, and I hope this is OK, if you are curious, this is what I do:

                              no ugly mug there papa deuce!!! I remember going to Hershey Park a lot when i was younger, and it is very hilly! I love it there.
