First, make sure you know where you have your pictures saved.
Then, upload them to an image hosting site such as photobucket.com or tinypic.com.
When you are at the page making your new thread, look at the toolbar above (where you can change your font color, etc.) there should be a little mountain picture.
Click on it and enter the URL for the picture that you just uploaded to the image hosting site (the image site should automatically lead you to a page that has the links on it). Then voila

You were so kind to respond but I am still experiencing difficulty.
I have the pictures uploaded on photobucket.com. I opened a new thread and picked the "moutain" icon and pasted the URL code but then nothing happened. I am really an amateur with this stuff. If you have any other instructions, I would appreciate it. In the meantime, you look great and keep up the good work!Comment

In photobucket you can click on the right URL for your pic, for bulletin boards, and copy and paste it to where you edit your first post. Not sure that makes much sense. I know what I want to get across, but find it hard to explain. Sorry... I'm pretty computer challenged, I'm afraid.

You'll get the hang of it soon!
I guess you need only to resize the last couple to a little smaller, and then re-upload them to photobucket. Well, that's what I do anyway...but there may be a faster way I don't know about.Before and after:
