Big difference....keep up the good work. You should post your before and after picture (so far) on the fridge and that will always give you motivation. you look a lot healthier and younger.
hah well thanks zarabelle, that's one advantage to being freakishly tall is i usually don't look what I weigh. But unfortunately too, you also don't notice as quickly when you start to gain weight. I mean I can still wear jeans (albeit with a belt and a saggy butt) that I wore 20 pounds ago. it takes a lot longer on my frame to see a difference, so i'm glad I found those old pics to remind me of just how bad it was!! I mean right now, im sitting drinking coffee in a men's Large t shirt (ladies you know how mens t shirts are always too darn narrow for our hips/bewbs?) and a pair of sleep pants I bought and never wore because they were too small, even being STRETCHY pants! its little things like that that make my day!
oh by the way! i'm at 204 today, so officially down 22.6 since starting atkins and 46 overall!
I'm going out to a concert tonight and getting all dolled up, I might put a pic up after I look all prettified

My wife is also 5'10", it's a great height for a female (and while we were living in the land of giants, The Netherlands, she wasn't even remarkable in stature).
Now our 5-month old daughter is ranging between 75% and 90% on the height charts each month, so she might very well be 5'10" or taller when she grows up. I'm going to make sure she doesn't screw up her posture by slouching -- I've seen a lot of tall girls with terrible hunched-over posture that I'm sure they developed during adolescence when they became noticeable taller than the boys (as a way of reducing the height difference).
Thanks everyone!
I shouldn't be looking a gift horse in the mouth, but lately I just can't find any pants that fit right anymore! They fit ok in the waist(if not a little big), but that lower tummy pooch area and the butt of ALL my pants are saggy and look stupid! The last thing I want to do is go out all dressed up in saggy-butt pants...i think in about 4 pounds when I hit 50 i'll have to go buy some more.
Ha ha yep I know just what you are talking about. Ohhh Darn It. hehe I was digging that my smallest size pants fit better, now.. they are baggin out and not looking like I'd like them too... and at this point, who wants to go out and spend $ on clothing that you know you will shrink right out of too.. ohhhh Darn it.. this is just soo rough, isn't it?
I have been able to find smaller pants at thrift stores... I actually find stuff I fit into, that blows my mind. good luck with those droopy britches girl
