  • 9 days into induction...and I melted! @_@

So far I've lost 10 pounds and only been on Induction for 9-10 days. I'm so loving this diet. Now I can see the proof. I thought it was just water weight I was losing.

              Re: 9 days into induction...and I melted! @_@

Thanks guys for your support! I think this will be really easy for me. Both my parents have only lost 5 pounds each and I've lost over 10 in less than 2 weeks. I walk and run for at least an hour a day. Now I'm going to incorporate crunches and strength training again. I hurt my wrist and got tendonitis so I'm trying to let that heal. But I can work on my lower body for the time being by doing more heavy cardio and squats and lunges and other stuff. I am beginning to see myself at my goal weight. I can visualize it now. I'm finding this board to be a really good source of inspiration and motivation. I am only 20 but I want to live a long, happy, and lean life where I can wear whatever clothes I want and do whatever activities I want to do without my weight being in the way.

So thanks to everyone for your kind and motivational words.

Hmm... you have been the only person so far to think that the pics look the same. I can certainly see a difference.

And now I'll take this opportunity to vent a bit: For the life of me, I don't understand the attitude of "it was just water weight" when referring to initial weight loss during Induction. (I'm not talking just about this post... I see this reference often).

SO WHAT if it is water weight? It is still weight. I know from experience that when I am holding water weight, my clothes are too tight. When I lose the water weight, my clothes then fit. I don't see the point in dismissing the loss of water weight... if she hadn't been following Induction, the water weight would still be there, and she would look larger.

                        Vent over.

                              Hi esor,
As you can see, most of us are passionate about this journey. Some, not so much.
Girl, speaking from experience, I can certainly see a difference. Especialy around you mid section. Did you measure? I love the tape measure. Such a better friend than the metal monster.
Every time I lost ten pounds, I went down a size. Especially the closer I got to goal.
Keep up the fantastic work you're doing for yourself. Not only are you losing the weight (fat/water/toxins), you're getting healthier internally.
Wishing you the best of health and lite. I look forward to watching your progress.
                              Sincerely, Sherri
