  • I've lost it once..I'll do it again. (20lb's)

A few years ago, around 3, I weighed in at what I then thought was
my heaviest (174lb's) I felt disgusting and my clothes were feeling
tighter and tighter. So I decided to do what was called the scarsdale
diet which is VERY similar to atkins but allows fruits.

I did the diet for about 2 months (2 weeks on 2 weeks off) and lost
a good amount of weight. (20-25lb's). I still had a slight gut which
i wanted to get rid of so i Hit the gym.

I dropped down to my lowest which is 151 and stopped. I didn't like
the fact that along with fat, lost a bit of muscle. Which was okay for
everyday stuff, but when it came to lifting heavy objects, like AC unites
which was fine when i weighed 175, now became a problem.

I hit up the gym and put on about 15lb of muscle in about 6 months. I lost a few more inches
but put on some weight which was okay, because it was mostly muscle.
My waist stayed the same if not smaller.

My gym partner then stopped going with me, which was pretty bad because I then started slacking off and started not to go anymore.
Over the next 2 years i put the weight back and weighed a max
of almost 200 with all my clothes and items on me (keys, phone, shoes,
wallet) Which added about 7-9lb's of stuff. I was eating horrble...
I've really noticed how what you eat REALLY can effect you.
I went from being good, eating salads and lean meats with watching
my carb intake to going full out pigging out. Having pasta and rice
and fried foods every day of the week. Something i hadn't had in awhile ..like fast food..i was doing. I went 4 years without eating mcdonalds, and now that was a normal lunch or even dinner for me.While going to the gym,
i was EATING a lot too, mostly protein, but I lifting weights
and doing cardio. I was offsetting most of the horrble stuff. Stopping
the gym was the worst..i put everything and MORE back on. The past
few months, i couldn't help but notice people commenting.
Saying things like, "you're putting on weight" to "you're getting a 2nd chin"
I had my fat friends saying, "welcome to our club"...its horrible.

Me before i started the diet..(191lb or so)

2 weeks ago, i said that's enough, and started up my diet again. I weighed
myself with just my undershirt and boxers and came in at 191lb's. As of
today, I weighed myself this morning at 182lb's.

In about a month I'll take another pic and show my progress. I'm aiming to
go down to about 150ish again then hit the gym up much like I did
last time. My goal is to see my abs before my wedding day. Which
is april 17th. Im not looking for a 6 pack, i just want to look lean.

    Wish me luck!

I'm at 180, don't see much of a difference physically. Although I have had a few people who havn't seen me since I started say that I look like i've lost. I'll take a shot
        tonight when i get home.

          178 today.

I've stalled for a few days but i went camping so my eating routine
got all messed up. It was expected though, i was doing the cooking
so i indulged a little to much lol..

Anyway, here's a pic from today, at 178.

BTW...my original photo where it said i was 174..was more like 184.

The old scale i used was off by 10lb's!!! it was saying i was lower then i really was.
So in reality, i was really heaver. My new scale which matches the gym is correct.

            WOW!
