  • Finished 14 day induction: 11 lbs lost

I began my induction on 6/13/09 and followed to the T with one setback:a dinner of pizza one week in. I am still satisfied with my results and am pushing on through extended induction. I knew I was loosing weight, and even inches after measuring myself this past Saturday. But, looking at these two pictures side by side made my day because I could visually see the difference 11 lbs makes! WOW! What will 20 lbs bring? 30? I am so excited and still dedicated.

In this pic: I am standing in the same spot, in the same dress, and even with the same pose except that it is flip flopped! LOL

I plan to use this dress as a measurement for progress. So, stay tuned for another update in a couple of weeks!!

I really see a big difference! Especially, your face! My goodness. That is so encouraging for everyone on this site. Also, I have to add. Way to go jumping right back into it even though you slipped with the pizza. That is exactly right!

How long will you stay on extended induction? Have you considered OWL? Sometimes, it jumpstarts the weight loss even more.

Re: Finished 14 day induction: 11 lbs lost

ShannonK, I haven't given any consideration to owl yet because 1. I am still loosing at a great pace, it hasn't slowed, so I see no reason to "boost" it as of yet. As a matter of fact just today I made it to an even 12 lb loss! and 2. I am still perfectly content with my food choices. I haven't become bored with them yet. and 3. I have a major amount of weight to loose so I figure that an extended induction wouldn't hurt anything. I mean, when I started I had over 100 lbs to loose!

Again, thanks for all of the kind words from everyone. I can't wait to see what another few weeks will bring.
