Hello, everyone. I just started today. I decided that posting my pictures might give me some extra motivation. I want everyone to be able to see how good I look later, right?

If these don't work, sorry. I'll just focus on my stomach since that's the main area in which I want to lose weight. Everything I eat goes straight to my stomach. My arms and legs and...everything else....look skinny. People always ask me if I'm pregnant. I can see why. It's horrible!! Lol. Yes, I'm sure that I'm not pregnant.

My waist is 33 inches (at my belly button). It's HUGE!!

Here we go.. Take it easy on me.

I'll update as soon as I notice a difference.

EDIT: Does anyone know of any foods I should or shouldn't eat since I have a problem with it all going to my stomach? Also, any certain exercises I should do? I've been eating fast food daily (I work at Wendy's) and haven't exercised at all. Surely I will begin to notice a different.

    I need motivation.

I'm sure you'll do just fine, take a peek around the forum at some other before/after pictures they'll give you that nice boost of motivation they sure did for me.

Make sure you stick to the acceptable foods list and refer to your copy of Doctor Atkins New Diet Revolution (you did get one right?). Stay away from that Wendys food it is the enemy! :guns

As for exercise i'd recommend your favorite form of Cardio a few times a week and a couple of days of light weight training to start off just to keep toned. Stay hydrated, drink plenty of water everyday and avoid anything that will tempt you to eat what you shouldn't. Good luck!

      Jeudrietr - Hi there
you dont really seem to need to lose weight anywhere else then your prob area- so i think you may need to go to the doctor and get your thriod checked cuz i had always had a flat tummy even when i got a little bigger then it jsut kinda developed adn i looked like i was 8 months pregnant so i went to the docand i found ou that i had hypo thyroidism, you can go to the thriod forum and they can help with any questions you have but that is one of the side effects of it, also are you tired alot... im sure you will do great on atkins but you may want to go get checked, good luck and let us know

Stick to the ceasar salad at Wendy and water...your burgers are way high in sodium. One of the Wendys around here has a grilled chicken that's acceptable, don't know why the others don't carry it?

After checking on other causes you definitely should incorporate both cardio and a lot of core muscle exercises into your weekly routine. Some light resistance training wouldn't hurt either...
        Good luck and happy losing!

The good news is that this diet will have you lose all over. It might not spot reduce a stomach, but it will get smaller just as everything else is getting smaller. Look forward to seeing your after photos in the near future.

Thank you all so much! I wasn't sure how active this forum is. I didn't expect so many replies so quickly. I really appreciate all of the feedback.

So far, I've lost 2 inches on my waist and it's only been a few days. :joy I don't use a scale since I know muscle weighs more than fat and I don't want to discourage myself. All I'm worried about is inches and how I look.

Thanks again, everyone. I will keep you all updated and post some new pictures as soon as you can see a difference (like I said before).

              :hug
