  • 90 Day Challenge B4 Pics



    As of July 22nd (The day after my 28th birthday) I started a 90 day Challenge....the end date is October 20th.....Start weight info is below

    As of this morning I was 199... thank goodness for being back in the 190's, even if I am just barely there! LOL I'm workin on getting to 178 by September 15th and I have an ultimate goal of about 140...after I hit 140, I plan to order P90X and see if all that they say about it rings true

      Looks like you're doing great!! Keep it up and you'll be there before you know it. I call 199 REALLY in the 90's --- hey, there are 2 9's in that number so it's extra special!!! Good luck to you.

        Heaviest weight - 403 lbs. (2007)
        April 1, 2008 - 387 lbs. (This is when I initially started to lose weight…but was not on Atkins at this point)
        Atkins start weight – 347 lbs. (July 19, 2008 – began Atkins)
        1st major goal met -----100 lbs. lost as of Oct 2, 2008 - Hit 300 lbs. on this day – From April 1-08 when I initially begin to lose weight.
        2nd major goal met - 151 lbs. lost as of Jan 13, 2009 - Hit 249 lbs. on this day.
        3rd major goal met - Wed, May 13-09 - Reached losing 200 lbs. in just over a year and a couple of months.
        4th major goal met – Reached “Onederland” June 6-09 – 198 lbs.
        5th major goal met - My 1 yr. Atkins anniversary - Weighing 184 lbs. this day
        Current weight – 183 lbs.
        Goal weight - 150 – 160

          Iyshia, let me know how you like the P90X if you end up getting it. I'm so tempted to purchase it but I've been holding off. I heard there was a new one coming out...maybe it's the one you mentioned above...not sure. I think someone on the board mentioned it in one of the threads...I just can't remember the name of it now.

            Thanks so much for the words of encouragement! I'd not heard of a new P90X coming out, until I read your post...I'll have to look into that, and see what's up. I'll definitely let you know how it works... I plan to post lots of pictures between now and when I hit my ultimate goal weight.

                I'm sending you much support and strength. I'm sure you can do it. Which exercise plan are you following for the 90 days? What does your workout look like?

                As far as I know there is P90 and P90X... I have the P90 series 1&2 and 3&4 of cardio and circuit training. They are a nice rounded workout with a lot of mix to them. The P90X is suppose to be exteme. Dh found it on BitTorrent (I think that is the name) download and it is more for a honest "stud" in my opinion. I mean thanks God it is in home b/c I would feel like I was upstairs at a gym bench pressing with all the men around type workout!!!! But I bet you would look toned and fit after the 90 days of it.

                BTW~ just curious if you have any pictures from when you did atkins before until your present. I love to see success stories!

                  Amanda, you're a gem!!!! It is the P90X (newer one) that I was trying to describe above to Iyshia. I forgot that there was the P90 before that....thanks for mentioning it!!!!

                          I'm so glad, I could help! Keep at it, the possibilities are endless with this WOE. I love seeing and tracking the progress made here.....It's hard to find that kind of motivation anywhere else!

                          I made my first goal of 195 lbs by the end of this month I just re-started on the 22nd, and was kinda worried that I would not be able to lose that much this fast, this time! I worked hard, and it paid off when I hit the scale last night and 195 flashed across the screen. I will post a new pic for every 20 lbs that I lose.... only 7 lbs to go!

                              Thanks so much! Unfortunately I recently got bit by a spider, then split the bottom of my 2nd toe wide open, while finishing up a home improvement project... the medication stopped losses and caused gains, so I was back at 210 as of 08/13/09, but am since down a good amount! I'm still on it... won't let that set back throw a wrench in my goals!

                              Yesterday I completed a 1 mile power walk, 3 miles on the exercise bike, and about 30 minutes of serious strength training, mixed w/ a little cardio. My official re-re-start date (after medication woes) was August 13th....So my new official 90 Day Challenge start day will be the same... and will end on November 11th....I hate having to change all that, but I'm determined to get things right this time...had there not been medicine, and injuries involved, there would be no restart..I'd just have to make up for the screw up and play catch up...that'll keep me honest

                              As of yesterday, I was down to 204.2...I'll only be posting my weight once a week from now until November 11th. Measurements are already done.....

                              Goal: 140 lbs or less.....working my way towards that new wardrobe shopping spree--will be there well before Christmas comes.
