Re: DK's before and soon to be during.
DK,
as a fellow DKer myself and as well as a weight of 255 at our age (i'm guessing 84 is year of birth) and im only a few years older at mine would read 79... but, 255 is/was to me a bad number. I absolutely was amazed on where i went with that, but I just want you to know, that YOU CAN DO THIS!
I am under 200 now, which is what I see your goal is and although I cannot do your ultimate goal of joining the Army, I think that it is even a better goal and something acheiveable. I actually recommend talking with a recruiter to see if they might be able to give you insight on what you need to weigh, what workout requirment is needed for basic. My brother in law is currently serving over in Afghan in the Army and had to bust his a$$ to get to weight and what was required. The reason I say that is that, then you could tailor your workout regimine now for even more success later!
You can do the weight loss! Hard work and dedication is the only thing that will make it happen, but I will use myself as an example and say that it is possible for you to lose that weight, and I've done it only since right before Easter until now.
Good Luck! Keep us informed!
Find what works for YOU!
