    Its time!

Went to the doctor the other day and was told that my blood pressure and cholestorol is a bit on the high side. He also said, that I should be able to correct it if I were to loose 50lbs.

So here I am. I'm going to give this an honest try and see where it goes.
Induction starts tommorow. Wish me luck!

    Gym routine: (Proposed)

    1hr eliptical cardio - 5 days a week
    Weight training - 3 days a week
    Ab/pushups - 7 days a week in the evenings

    Height: 6ft
    Starting weight (Nov 19, 2009) : 280lbs (down from 300+)
Goal weight: (however long it takes): 230lbs

Hey Man, Just wanted to say good luck on your journey. Stick with the plan and it won't be a problem. If you haven't gotten the book, you should definitely pick it up. I had a lot of Atkins misconceptions when I started, and that was more than 95 lbs ago. I look forward to hearing your progress!!!

Thanks for all of the encouragement! Things are comming along allready.
I'm 268 as of this morning!! Training is going well also. I went on friday and plan to go again later today. One thing that I am finding difficult is the counting of carbs in things like cheese, milk and especailly veggies.

              Any help is appreciated.

Did you try FitDay? It counts for you. All you have to do is measure/weigh your food.

I should clarify here... The online version of FitDay counts total carbs for you, not net carbs. But you can do the math to get net carbs.

Things are still comming along. Weighed in at 249 this morning. I'm seeing small differences so far, but apparently others are able to tell. So far 21lb lost and atleast 19lb more to go.
