    Hello, how often do you weight yourselves?

    I weighed myself 2 days in a row...not good! it was only up 4 oz but i want to see it go down. So, I think Im going to weight my self once a week. I know there are alot of factors on why it might fluctuate.

    I think its different for everyone, I like to weigh myself daily then average it out on Sundays..however..if you're easily discouraged its probably best to wait and do it once a week, after a week of this wol you'll see a significant weight loss even if that day is a "heavy day"..Good luck!!

      Wow Sabrina, your weights has came off great! Since diets have never worked for me in the past I doubt myself on this one. I think its working by the foods Im eating (heck I haven't touched white food for 2 weeks)

      Will you take a look at my eating plan and see what you might do different:

      Breakfast: 2 eggs, 2 bacon, some days add shredded cheese

      Lunch: 2 cans tuna, 1 sm pickle, onion (small amt) and 0 carb mayo 1 T
      Or sometimes steak, or chicken

      Dinner: hamb patties, meatloaf, chicken, steak then I try and add a couple veggies such as Fried Cabbage, broccoli, mock rice (cauliflower)

      What are good snacks? I usually bring a string cheese. Sometime for desert I have sugar free jello cup

      I drink 80-100 oz a day of water.

      Tell me what you think! add to it please.

        Your diet mirrors mine almost identically!! I have 4 eggs for breakfast and 4 slices of precooked bacon then about 2 hours later I'll have a string cheese..for lunch I have a large can of tuna(in water)with a pickle cut up in it and about 2-3 tbsp of mayo and a small bag of peanuts and a string cheese..or a bowl of grilled blackend chicken and peanuts. For snacks I'll either have a cup of jello like the ones you can buy at Walmart..or a bag of peanuts or string cheese. Dinner is usually very light I try to get some solid protein like chicken or fish and a lot of water..I buy the flavor packets to make all the water bearable! I do work out at least 3 times a week...I'm pretty lazy so I like to just get on the treadmill for 30mins to an hour while I'm watching tv...although when I first started this diet I usually didn't last more than 15 mins. If you stick to it the weight will FALL OFF!!! I started at 204 on Jan 1st 2009 and as of this morning I'm 154. I took off for a couple of months otherwise I would have lost it in half the time..dont get discouraged, the only one who can make this work for you is you! Also in the beginning you really should limit your veggies, I think you can gradually add them in after the first two weeks if you're happy with the amount of weight you're losing...I prefer to stay in extended induction until I reach my goal..you might also get some ketone strips so you can actually see it working..that kept me motivated.
