Re: 3 weeks-22 Pounds
Its 3 months and 10 days since i first started atkins. I was apx 300 lbs when i started. I 30 lbs within the first 5 weeks. Then i pretty much just quit doing atkins completely. I haven't lost any additional weight. I actually started gaining weight back about 2 weeks ago so i started watching my food more closely. I am now back down to 30 lbs lost. I sure wish i would have stuck to the plan better. One thing i have been able to do though is stop the creeping pounds. I can literally feel when i have gained a few pounds now and i can usually get them off pretty quick by working out a little longer each day and cutting out something here or there food wise. I had no control over this at all before. When i would get stressed about my weight i would just eat more.
I have been traveling for work since January 9th. The projects keep getting delayed and i haven't been able to get home yet. Earlier this year i was at a guest house so i had a kitchen so it was much easier. I cooked raw meat and ate frozen vegetables and eggs and cheese. Since then it has been hotels. No way to cook raw meat. The precooked packaged stuff has so much crap in it i might as well go to burger king. I have eliminated junk food (candy chips etc) totally and i only have one sugary drink (juice or soda) per day. I avoid bread and mashed potatoes. Restaurants have sauce or breading on everything so its been difficult to stick to the rules. 2 days ago i stopped the sugary drinks and now im back on water only. Tomorrow im beginning 14 day induction again. My goal is to lose 20 pounds by June 1st. Its going to be tricky navigating the restaurant chains. Wish me luck
