    I was wondering how many carbs were in a loose packed cup of salad greens?
    sw= 260

    GOAL WEIGHT: 230

    Without knowing which greens are in your salad it will be virtually impossible to give you a carb count. However,

      WELL atkins allows you 3 loose cups of salad, i just need to know how many carbs that is, atkins does not specify what kind of sald greens. The veggies are not the only carbs i consume in a day, i just want to be sure i am not going over my carb limit. Eggs have carbs, cheese has carbs. I am eating green leaf lettuce.

        There are several acceptable salad veggies and that is why no one can say but if you are only eating lettuce I know 1 cup shredded romain is about 1.33 carbs and 0.9 are from fiber.

          If you buy a bad of cut lettuce (like I do, cuz I'm lazy) it should say it all on the back of the package.

          If you use www.fitday.com you can put that in as a custom food. That helps me alot! :nod
