  • Since starting I have been stalled for 13 weeks total

I didn't realize until today but in total I have been stalled for 13 weeks out of 27 so I have oly lost half of the time. ANd I have been cheat free as well. I have lsot a lot of weight in those weeks here's to some more comming soon cause I think I really deserve to see the scale move. 13 WEKKS is a long time to not see a loss. My first stall was 2 weeks after I started and it lasted 7 weeks but, I stilllost inches, the second started 6 weeks ago no loss of inches or anything GRRRR. SO I have cut out caffeine and cream and well basically dairy and hopefully the eveil little metal monster or the tape measure will greet me with a nice loss. That would be awesome maybe I'll break this by my BDAY what a nice presant that would be. Here's to June 2nd My Bday to break this horrible stall it will be 7 weeks by then .

I know the feeling Believe me. I just look at it this way, I am not gaining and I am eating food I like. SO I will stick to it for now. I also think I have to up my exercise.

My first thought is to tell you to change whatever you are doing exercise-wise because I bet that is what is not working for you.

Belive me I count calories and like I said I lost inches the first platea but, not this one 6 weeks no loss of inches or pounds so I have been watching every little thing that goes in my mouth. The average daily calories is about 16-1800 which I think is all right I am not starving. I am also 147 lbs of lean Body mass. As you all know I have actually not been exercising a whole bunch these last 6 weeks but, I still am doing somehting I have 3 kids so doing nothing is like dreaming. LOL

I am not complaining I just think it's weird how I seem to stall out all the time it's crazy and drives me insain but, I have stuck it out and have busted past this plateau and I plan on bustin past this one right now. I am not using this stall as a reason to cheat or self doubt or self sabotage I am using it for strength and this shows how commited I am to changing my life and my body and my spirit. I had to be ready and this time I am and that's why I am here that's why I am posting this statement cause I need to to show you all that even when there are bumps and curves in your road you can get there and I WILL!!

HI Sarah, i know its easy to say but don't get frustrated, you have worked too hard. I am not sure if you are asking for advice but i have heard that coconut oil sometimes helps with breaking of stalls. or have you tried upping your fat intake or perhaps it could be how many calories you are eating a day may be a little too many, are you getting enough fiber?

The other thing is through you seem to know this.. your body, the scale are just fickle creatures and it seems yours likes to go in spurts. Since your body does like to do this, you may want to try and figure out if your calorie intake is what it should be.. even too few calories by like 100 can put your body in a starvation mode...and you may not even realize that you have. This way of life can make us not seem hungry but we have to feed it and watch that we don't over feed it still.

BTW Happy Birthday if i miss you Thursday.

                      Hang in there...angel

Sarah, have you moved on to OWL yet? that may help kick start your weight loss. another thing that helped me when I stalled for a while was cutting out cheese and cutting back on my dairy..

I was starting to move up the rungs and I stalled actually all the extra kinds of food I guess I cut out all dairy and cheese haven't had any for a week now I am having TOM so hopefully when it is gone I will lose. I had togo back to basics. I am trying to figure out what is going on I don't think I can cut out much more. I cut out caffeine and nothing, cream nothting, cheese nothing, What elese is there to cut out. I don't have much for sweetner at all most days nothing. I am beginning to think this is a hormone issue cause I am having the heaviest TOM I think I have ever had No cramps though so that's good and I feel puffy. My waist went up 2 inches for this one how depressing. I am sure as my hormones regulate so will my weight loss. FINGERS CROSSED>

i've been stalled for about 3 weeks now too; it's somewhat discouraging, but as long as i don't gain any weight, it doesn't bother me too much -yet :raving
