    Measure ALL your body parts...

...not just chest, waist, hips! If you've been around for any length of time, you know that if you haven't been losing pounds, you may be losing inches. And sometimes you lose inches in just one or two spots, not all over.

I joined the six-week exercise challenge last week, which asked for measurements below the arms and just below the bust, 2 areas I hadn't measured before. After a week of the exercise challenge (I pledged 4 days, and DID it!), I hadn't lost a pound. I was not happy! But I went for the measuring tape, and while I hadn't lost in any of the usual areas, I had lost 1 1/2 inches under my arms, and 2 inches under my bust!!!!! I couldn't believe it!

Several weeks ago, just after getting through induction, the scale wasn't moving either for a week or two. But I was losing inches in my neck (1 1/4!)

    So, measure everywhere, and rejoice!

    Good advice.

I measure my upper arms, wrist, thighs and calves---and yes, the times the tape measure wasn't moving on my waist, it was on my thighs, arms and calves.

I hadn't thought of the wrist, although I do measure arms & thighs too. Come to think of it, my bracelet I wear all the time IS looser!

I bet some people would want to measure ankles, too.

Measure everywhere? I think there are areas that I'd rather not know about shrinkage.
