Has anyone tried the FAT FAST? I've been doing Atkins 2nd time around for 2 months now and struggled to lose a few pounds. Last time I did it, it fell off me. This time I'm really doing it by the book and exercising and really struggling.

The fat fast is only to be used by people who can't get into ketosis any other way. If you can get hold of some testing sticks, test to see if you are already in ketosis. If you are, there's no point doing the fat fast. If you can't get into ketosis on induction levels of carbs, then maybe you should consider it, but really check your carb level and give yourself a nice clean induction before doing anything drastic.

Tell us what your typical menu is be honest we can probably spot something in there that may be holding you back sometimes it's as little as a bit too much cream as it was for me. And getting rid of caffeine. it's hard but, After a 7 week stall I am starting to lose now so I am stoked.

This is the second time around for myself as well and the same scenario has applied, first time melted off this time, not much. I have lost inches and with everyones encouragement I am trying not to let what the scales tells me discourage me. If my clothes are getting loose as they are I must be doing something right even if the scale doesn't realize it, yet. Hang in there....Dieting Guru

Fat fasts are highly NOT recommended unless you are metabolically resistant as specified by DANDR.
Just because you are struggling to lose the last few pounds doesn't mean it is good for you. It even says in the book that those who aren't metabolic resistant can get dire effects from it.
Have you considered that perhaps your body really likes being at the weight it is now? If you didn't like this answer, then all I can say is BE PATIENT, keep exercising and stop focussing on it so much. I've heard some Atkineers who decided to stop going for GW and enjoy being the way they were and guess what? They lost and kept losing.30yo F 5'5 (166cm)
