You cannot eat anything, ANYTHING that isn't on the list. SO no peanut butter... and when you move on to later phases, natural peanut butter would be the best.

I noticed you don't have a lot to lose and probably look pretty healthy anyway. I have the same problem and am just letting you know it is a little difficult to lose the weight... actually really difficult. I recommend you stay on Induction instead of eventually moving on.

Actually in order to learn how to maintain you NEED to move through the rungs of OWL. Please please please read the book raisin.

For those with smaller amounts to lose the very best thing to do is to move from the 2 week induction straight to OWL.
Doesn't work. Makes me gain weight.
Did you find your CCL then?

It seems as if I eat any extra net carbs than that of Induction, I gain weight...

However, I am sure everybody is different... maybe she can move to OWL and still lose... it's just not my experience.. :/

You might want to actually try and get your CCL number. You may be one of those people who has a very low one, but that does not mean you can't move through the OWL rungs and stay at the 20 carbs a day level or whatever. Know what I mean?

Yes your ccl could be 20 grams. you should still move through the rungs to learn where your food sensitivities are.

Well, I'll try it again, I guess

However, I need to go through another 2 weeks of Induction starting today... I cheated bad for the 1st time this weekend... then I'll try it again in 2 weeks.

Raisin-I also wanted to ask you about your level of exercise. The more activity you do the higher your ccl should be.

I work as a waitress so I am very active at work. Constantly running around. I also try to go for a 30 minute walk whenever I can, but whenever I do that, then go to work.. I come back completely exhausted... heh.

I also walk to and from school 3 days a week, but I guess that will be ending this week--finals week!

I also do situps a couple times a week, and weight lifting on my arms.

I would love to join a gym but I don't have the money. Also, we don't have anymore exercising equipment in the house, got rid of it for some reason and I'm mad for that. I'd like to take my bicycling but I can't find the air pump to fix the flat tires.

I figured if I do something other than walking, I might be able to break my stall. I hear it works for some reason. Need to find that air pump.

Walmart has good prices on weights.

I came across a 120lb set for 25 buck! included a good size bar too. Granted I can't do more than Bis,tris, and grip training but its still helpfull and cheap!

Try to include Crunches and pushups into your routine. I do 4 cycles of pushups and 4 cycles of Crunches working my lower and up abs really good!

I lost 4.5 lbs the first week but towards the weekend i gained one pound i dunno why but i guess ill see what happens...As of right now im sorta addcited to peanut butter i try tolimit myself as much as possible...and yes i know its not allowed but i cant help it so i just make sure i include it in my carb limit. You are forgetting something. OWL stands for ON GOING WEIGHTLOSS

You won't gain weight. You didn't gain the weight overnight, don't expect to lose it that way either

This isn't necessarily true at all, our body weight fluctuates by normal mechanism, and I don't know one single person on this board who has consistently seen the scale head downward on a daily basis.

You can gain one pound on Monday and lose three pounds the next day - that's perfectly normal, and yes, by "doing Atkins the right way. :yes

Yes, you're right. The scale can fluctuate, but it doesn't happen that often in the second week of Induction unless the person has a high metabolic resistance. But, it might happen if that person is eating peanut butter. Not trying to be rude, just pointing out the obvious.
