If you are really ill I don't think you should think about if medicins are atkinsfriendly or not, I think it is more important to get healthy again.
    Get well soon !!

My daughter swears by a homeopathic remedy called "Airborne". I don't know if it's available there, but it's popular around here. I hope you feel better soon.

Hi Collin, Hope you get well soon. How about some plain ol HOT chicken broth. May boullion cubes? They are Atkins friendly, and something about warm broth seems to chase the chills away......

If you are needing cough syrup, ask your pharmacist (chemist?) for sugarfree, and if you need aspirin or ibuprofen, use it.
I found when I was sick last winter it was really easy to get my water in, because I was just so thirsty! The chicken broth is a great idea...throw some veggies in there too and make it a meal. Herbal teas are very soothing as well with a little shot of lemon.

          Get yourself better!

Tried the chicken broth and that did make me feel a lot better. Trouble is when you feel ill you back to your childhood, that was the time you always had your comfort food. For me it was baked potato with butter and a mug of Heinz cream of tomato soup!
